Project Wings Sumatra movie

Plastic in paradise? Unfortunately yes. But that's where this story starts.
For Project Wings We went to the middle of the Sumatra rainforest. To where orangutans live and plastic hasn't actually lost anything. The result is an image film about an aid organization that doesn't spill but stacks Eco Bricks: the largest recycling village in the world, built from what else is left behind.
On location, we filmed, observed, accompanied and captured how real perspectives are created from plastic. Between rainforest, recycling and plenty of mud under your shoes, the pictures tell of people, ideas and a mission that is bigger than any container full of trash. Not gloss, not an index finger — but real insights, real impact and a project that recycles hope.
Waste becomes the future. And from a movie, a statement.
