"EWE explains" YouTube format

What do electricity tariffs, smart homes and actor Markus have in common?
That's right, they were all in the spotlight on this production.

For EWE, one of Germany's major energy and telecommunications companies, we were able to implement a YouTube campaign with four films on various consumer topics: electricity knowledge, smart home, saving electricity and comparing tariffs. The aim was to explain complex content in an understandable, entertaining and visually high-quality way — in other words, explanatory film meets campaign.

The way there: weeks of conception, screenwriting and planning. Because if you want to make several films over two days of shooting, you need a plan that fits. So it's practical that Picture Colada exists.

On the set itself, we really pulled off: large studio setup, Dolly for dynamic camera shots, precise lighting by our illuminators, teleprompters for precise presentations and, of course, an actor who played his way through several topics and costume changes per day.

As a result of extensive teamwork, four films were created that combine information and entertainment and bring energy topics to where they belong: right in the middle of everyday life.
